(3) How do I confirm that you have received my order? An order confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail, with details of your order as soon as your order is received.

(4) How do I make sure that a gem or jewelry on your website is still available for sale? When an order is received for a particular item we indicate against the item that it has been sold. The Item will be removed from the website only after realization of the payment. If two or more orders are received for the same item, the first order will take preference.

(5) How do I make payment for retail purchases?

For retail purchases payment can be made by any one of the following methods:

(a) Live online secure payment  by VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, or  DISCOVER through Merchant account (Checkout. com)

(b) We accept FXSource. FXSource allows you to purchase online using your existing bank account. There is no account to setup, no credit card needed, and your personal information is not disclosed to FXSource or any third party. When you choose to pay using FXSource, you are presented with and emailed an electronic bill that you can pay at your bank's web site. If you have ever paid a utility bill from your bank account, you already know how to use FXSource.

(c) Telegraphic transfer.

(6) How do I make payment for wholesale purchases?

(a) Full payment by Telegraphic Transfer, Mail Transfer, Bank Draft, Bank Guaranteed Cheque or International Money Order

(b) Credit card payment: please check with your credit card provider if your transaction exceeds the card limit. You can either ask them to temporarily increase the card limit and or transaction limit. We can also accept multiple installments via credit cards(This can by pass your transaction limits).

(c) Use of irrevocable letter of credit (LC) or documents against payments (DP).

(7) Who takes care of the Shipping and Insurance?

We offer free Shipping Worldwide, and we also bear the cost of Insurance of the merchandise. The customer has to pay only the cost or value of the goods. Please note that our free shipping and insurance policy is only for retail purchases only.Wholesale buyers have to bear the cost of insurance and freight.

(8) How long will it take for the items to reach me?

After realization of payment the purchased goods are dispatched within three working days. This period is required for examination and certification of the genuineness of the items by the National Gem and Jewelry Authority of Sri Lanka. Goods are dispatched by registered International Air Mail with insurance coverage.

The goods dispatched should reach their destination within three to five days of dispatching. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the customer as soon as the goods are dispatched

(9) Do you sell synthetic or artificial stones?

All our gemstones are 100% natural products, we do not deal in synthetic or artificial stones ,such stones if detected are destroyed by the National Gem and Jewelry Authority after a compulsory and thorough screening process. All Post Offices and private courier services have been told not to take shipment of gem stones and jewelry unless certified for export by the National Gem and Jewelry Authority of Sri Lanka.

(10) Do you sell treated stones?

We normally deal only with natural untreated stones. Heat treatment for sapphires and rubies to enhance their color has been practiced by the gem trade over the centuries, and is accepted as fair practice by the gem trade. If such a stone is put up for sale there will be an honest declaration of treatment accompanying the photograph of the stone. It will also be indicated in the  Lab Certificate issued with the stone. We issue Lab certificates from the Laboratory of the National Gem and Jewelry Authority of Sri Lanka or from the Gemmological Institute of Colombo. These are the best Gem Labs in Sri Lanka and also probably among the best in Asia. Both Labs are equipped with State-Of -The-Art  ultramodern gem testing equipment. These equipment can detect any form of treatment done on a gem stone (including heat treatment).

(11) Why are personal details such as name, postal address, phone number, e-mail address, fax no etc important when placing an order?

These details are important in order to contact you in case of any problems regarding your order. The Shipping companies also require your phone number in order to contact you if there is any problem with the delivery.

(12) How secure is my personal details with you?

All personal details given by customers in the course of transactions with us will be treated with utmost confidentiality and will not be disclosed to anyone under any circumstances. We give top priority to customers privacy and take extra precaution to make sure that all information provided is kept secret and confidential. We do not Loan,sell or rent your personal information to anybody and will never do so.

(13) Can you make a custom made jewelry for me?

Of course we will make custom made jewelry to suit your particular need. We have one of the best Jewelry Workshops in Sri Lanka situated in Galle. We export large quantities of set jewelry to America, Canada and EU countries through middle men so our products must be good. Let us know which type of design you want, you can also send us photos taken by digital camera. Customers can also request for a particular shape, size and type of gemstone. Customers can also select a gem stone and ask us to set it in jewelry (please specify such as Necklace, Pendant, Earring, Bracelet, Healing cross etc).

(15)  How can I be sure that the Gem stones I am purchasing are genuine?

In Sri Lanka all gemstone exports should be compulsorily channeled through the National Gem and Jewelry Authority, whose qualified Gemologists will examine the stones for their genuineness using ultramodern equipment. Only if they are 100% satisfied they seal the package and forward it to the Customs office and from there to the post office, all situated on the 2nd floor of the fully secure National Gem and Jewelry Authority of Sri Lanka. Any synthetic stones discovered are confiscated and destroyed. Thus the customer can rest assured that any gemstone purchases he or she makes from   Internet Stones.com are 100% genuine.

(16) Are your Gems Certified?

Yes, all our gemstones are accompanied by a Lab Certificate and a Grading Report issued by the National Gem and Jewelry Authority of Sri Lanka or from the Gemmological Institute of Colombo ,these are the best in the country and probably among the best in Asia. Neptune Gem Stone and Jewelry Store bears the cost of the Lab Certificate and Grading Report.

We are presently bearing the cost of the Lab Certificate and Grading Report because we are more committed to maintaining a long term relationship with our customers .Our success is solely determined by the long term relationship with our customers and our customers recommendation to other customers and to new customers "THE CUSTOMER  IS THE KING". In this era of broadband internet the need for having a 100% satisfied customer has never been greater, because nowhere does the word spread faster than it does on the Net. (17) Do you issue your own Lab Certificates?

No ,We do not Own a Gem testing Laboratory. It is also in the best interest of the customer that we issue Laboratory Certificates and Grading Report from a third party( The National Gem and Jewelry Authority of Sri Lanka or from The Gemmological Institute of Colombo). Please see answer to question 16,above.

(18) Whats your return policy?

we offer a two week return policy on all our purchases, if you are not satisfied with our product. No questions asked. The Shipping and insurance fees are not refundable .The items that are returned must be securely packaged and sent by Registered International Air Mail by the customer, with the appropriate insurance coverage. All sales are final after 15 days.

(19) Do you sell wholesale jewelry?

Yes, we do sell jewelry wholesale(including gem stone jewelry), we have been in the business of exporting wholesale jewelry for decades. We usually export our set jewelry to U.S.A, Canada and EU countries through middle men so our jewelry must be good. Please see our wholesale page for details.

(20) Do you place all your gem stones and jewelry on the net?

Of course not, we have a large offline retail business. We also Export wholesale processed stones and jewelry. At any point in time we have a large stock with us. Please feel free to contact us and let us know what you want,we probably have what you want in our retail offline shop or in our stocks.

(21) Are my credit card details safe with you?

Your credit card details are 100% safe, because we process via Merchant account. The credit card details remain with the card processing companies such as visa etc. None of our employees have access to any of your credit card details.
